Independence Ghost Town

Welcome to my first of many series featuring Ghost Towns. It’s only right that I start with one near my birth place, Aspen, Colorado. I will be doing Ashcroft next but need some better images, as I am not completely happy with what I have from my first photo visit. I have spent a lot of time in Ashcroft growing up, but since becoming more of a photographer, every time I go back it’s with a whole new vision. My middle name is even Ashcroft, named after a Ghost Town! Hope you enjoy, I have some exciting stuff in the works.

  1. I too am drawn to derelict farm houses and ghost towns. Am off on a photo shoot in two weeks to try to capture some more of these. In particular, the town of Hammond in the sate of South Australia. Will be posting some of these images in late October. I will be far from any light pollution and so I am keen to try my hand at star trials etc and perhaps some light painting – God this is a lot of fun. Thanks for the images – great work and I will keep tabs on your future stuff

  2. Hi, I do believe this is a great blog. I stumbledupon it 😉 I am going to revisit once again since I saved as a favorite it. Money and freedom is the best way to change, may you be rich and continue to guide others.
