PORT OF HOUSTON

Aerial Photography – May 2025

A Toby Harriman Photography Collection

Captured on May 12, 2025, this aerial photography series documents the Port of Houston, one of the busiest maritime gateways in the United States. Photographed by Toby Harriman from a helicopter operated by Apex Helicopters, the collection offers a rare perspective on the movement and infrastructure that drive the Gulf Coast economy.

From above, the port becomes a network of cranes, vessels, refineries, and container stacks, each part of a system that keeps global trade moving. Created during a time of shifting tariffs and changing supply chains, these images reflect both industrial scale and visual design.

Part of Harriman’s ongoing focus on aerial and industrial subjects, the Port of Houston series continues his study of America’s major ports and aviation hubs, revealing the beauty, structure, and rhythm within large-scale logistics.
