This project was developed in partnership with DeReamers and Visit Anchorage as part of the “Anchorage Stories” campaign, a series of short-form videos designed to highlight the people, experiences, and perspectives that define Anchorage.

The work focused on capturing authentic stories from locals, visitors, and business travelers through a mix of candid interviews and cinematic b-roll. Each piece explored themes like why people choose to live, work, and recreate in Anchorage, positioning the city not just as a gateway, but as a destination in its own right.

Alongside the core story-driven pieces, the project included a consistent rollout of social-first content, with monthly vertical edits showcasing the range of experiences available across the region, from urban life to immediate access to wilderness.

My role centered on aerial direction, filming, coordination, and permitting, helping shape the visual approach from above while working closely with the team throughout production. The aerial work played a key role in reinforcing Anchorage’s unique identity, where city infrastructure and vast landscapes exist side by side.

The final content was used across Visit Anchorage’s marketing channels, supporting broader efforts to promote year-round travel, highlight off-season appeal, and connect with a range of audience personas through real, personal storytelling.
